I couldn’t be more thrilled to relay the news that our very own Steve Reynolds, Emburse’s Chief Strategy Officer and founder of our TRIPBAM division, is a 2024 inductee into the Business Travel Hall of Fame.
Steve may have only been with Emburse for a year since our acquisition of his previous company TRIPBAM, but he has spent his entire 35+ career blazing a trail in the travel and technology industries. He has founded and had successful exits from three technology companies, being acquired by such industry leaders American Express, Concur, and - best of all! - Emburse.
He has also served as an advisor to several travel technology organizations, as well as being a board member of the Technology Entrepreneurship Initiative at his alma maters, Baylor University and Texas A&M.
In his short time at Emburse, Steve has already had a huge impact. His deep experience across the entire spectrum of business travel and travel technology and his insight and counsel have been absolutely invaluable as we move forward to the next phase of Emburse’s growth.
Steve is just one of four people to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. He’s also among only 60 inductees in its 14-year history - a list including founders and CEOs of some of the world’s largest airlines, hotel chains, car rental companies, and travel technology and service providers.
Also among this illustrious group are some of the world’s most respected corporate travel leaders, and I’m thrilled that this includes several Emburse customers - including Steve’s fellow 2024 inductee Michelle DeCosta, Global Head, Meetings and Travel Center of Excellence at Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. Michelle joins Eric Bailey, Global Director of Employee Travel and Devices at Microsoft (2023), and Cindy Heston, Director, Travel & Events at Elevance Health (2016).
