Mark Riggs
Mark is an industry veteran that has focused on the holistic Customer Experience for over 25 years. As Chief Customer Officer of Emburse, he will lead our customer journey from acquisition to retention, ensuring that our solutions meet the needs and expectations of our diverse and expanding customer base.
Prior to Emburse, Mark served as the Chief Customer Officer at Coupa Software, achieving revenue growth from $100M to $1B and an average customer gross revenue retention rate of 95%. Before that, he was Chief Customer Officer and General Manager for Bazaarvoice, SVP World-Wide Customer Success for Endeca Technologies (acquired by Oracle), and Vice President of Global Services for Business Objects (acquired by SAP).
Mark’s commitment to the success of others extends well beyond organizational boundaries as he supports The W.A. Franke College of Business at Northern Arizona University and Breakthrough Students working in their extended education program. Additionally, Mark participates on several advisory boards and works with USF MBA students as a part of the first academic curriculum that focuses on educating students in Customer Success Management and Software-as-a-Service.

We are all leaders in our own way, whether titled or informally appointed, and leaders inspire others to reach greater heights, to push past self-imposed limitations and to make heroes of those around them by inspiring others to accomplish more than they individually believed possible. I believe that everyone should be in the hero creation business!
